Monitoring and review
Reviewing a change
What a review item tells you and the three decisions you can make.
Review lists the changes and source problems that need a person. FactLatch never edits your page and never decides that anything is wrong: it shows what happened and asks you.
What every item shows
- What happened, in the state's own words: Change detected, Evidence missing, Needs review, Source unavailable or Source can't be read.
- The tracked item and the page it is published on, and the source involved.
- Where it applies, the previous value and evidence next to what the source shows now.
- When it was detected, and why FactLatch is asking instead of deciding.
The decisions
- Resolve: you dealt with it, for example by updating your page. The item closes. You can add a note.
- Acknowledge: you have seen it. It stays open until it is resolved or dismissed.
- Dismiss: this is not a real problem (for example the source describes a different plan). The item closes. You can add a note.
Every decision is recorded in the item's History with who made it and the note you wrote, on every plan; reading History is part of Pro and above.
