How FactLatch works
Scan, verify, track, review: from something worth watching to a reviewed change.
FactLatch helps you discover, verify, track and review information that may change: a price, a plan limit, a comparison table, a regulation, a schedule, a list of people, a file, or a fact that depends on a source.
The four steps
- Scan. FactLatch maps a website, or reads one page or document you name, and suggests what may be worth tracking. The public scan is free and needs no account. A discovery is a suggestion, not a decision.
- Verify. You open what looks relevant and see what FactLatch read, where, and what would be watched. Nothing is tracked until you confirm it.
- Track. When you confirm, FactLatch reads the item again from its source, records the baseline and checks it again on a schedule.
- Review. When something changes, FactLatch shows what it said before and what it says now and asks you to decide what it means. A change is a signal, not a verdict.
What FactLatch is not
It does not decide what is true, it does not rewrite your content, and it never edits your website. A change is a signal for a person to look at, not proof that anything you published is wrong.
